"In the Footsteps of Heroes" Rock Climbing Tournament Dedicated to Victory Held in Shusha

The "In the Footsteps of Heroes" rock climbing tournament dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Victory was held in Shusha.

According to "Report", on the first day of the two-day event, participants walked from Mukhtar village to Jidir Plain, familiarizing themselves with the paths taken by our heroes.

On the second day, the rock climbing competition held in Jidir Plain turned into a tense and exciting sports competition. Professional and amateur teams tested their strength in the competition. In the end, the winning teams were awarded with diplomas.

The tournament is not only a sports competition, but also an expression of respect for the dear memory of the martyrs, the perpetuation of our Victory history, and is important in terms of educating young people in the spirit of patriotism.

It should be noted that the sports competition was organized by the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation with the support of the Ministries of Ecology and Natural Resources, Youth and Sports, the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha District, the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Shusha State Historical and Architectural Reserve Department.
