Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola shared his thoughts on his club's transfer activity in the winter window.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that, according to the Spanish specialist, the need for large expenses was also evident in the last campaign:
"Even last season I realized that we would have to spend money on new players. If we didn't feel the need, we wouldn't make such transfers. We only have 1-2 centre-backs. We also have personnel difficulties in midfield."
It should be noted that in this window, the "citizens" have almost completed the transfers of defenders Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis and striker Omar Marmoush.
