In Baku, a master deceived three people by promising to sell household appliances at a cheap price and seized 10,000 manats.
İdman.biz, referring to "Qafqazinfo", reports that 41-year-old Aslan Mammadov promised to sell household appliances to the victims at a cheap price, but after taking the money, he did not keep his promise. After the deceived people appealed to the police, he was arrested.
Aslan Mammadov, who testified in court, said that he committed the crime due to his addiction to gambling: "These events happened after I became addicted. I lost all my money on "Beşiktaş" games. I bet on this team's games every week, but I never won. I regret my actions. I have already reconciled with the victims, I ask that it be taken into account."
During the court investigation, the defendant's family members fully compensated the material damage caused to the victims, as well as the state fee.
According to the verdict, Aslan Mammadov's criminal case was terminated, and he was released from the courtroom.
