Panayotis Chronopoulos, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national water polo team, has resigned. Sport24.az reports that Zaur Aliyev, the president of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation, announced this.
He stated that water polo is more developed in Croatia and that they want to take advantage of that country's knowledge:
"We will deal with this issue closely. We will review the candidates."
It should be noted that the Greek specialist had been leading the national team since September last year.
