Shahin Chatma, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national volleyball teams for teenage and young girls, met with athletes of the "Ganja" Volleyball Academy.
According to the information provided to "Report" from the press service of the regional representative, the meeting held at the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex was attended by the president of the club Elvar Osmanov, a member of the Board of the New Azerbaijan Party, the chairman of the Ganja City Organization Bayram Aslanov, as well as the representative of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, Maftun Salmanov.
S. Chatma gave advice to young volleyball players and answered their questions. He spoke to the athletes about the technical and tactical intricacies of volleyball, ways to overcome the difficulties that arise when working in a team process, and the basic principles of being a professional athlete.
At the meeting, where the importance of children's volleyball was especially emphasized, the continuous support of "Ganja" to the "Volleyball Kids" project of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation was especially emphasized. The main goal of the project is to achieve mass volleyball among children and adolescents, to identify talented athletes and introduce them to the world of professional sports. "Ganja" regularly pays special attention to the training of a new generation of athletes in this direction.
