43-year-old İbrahim Saraç, who plays for "Gölhisar Vefaspor" in the Burdur 1st Amateur League, has been actively playing football for 28 years.
Saraç started playing football at the age of 15 at "Gölhisarspor" and has played for many amateur and professional teams.
İbrahim Saraç, who continues his football career at "Gölhisar Vefaspor", where he was the president and captain last year, is fighting in the play-offs with his team in the Burdur 1st Amateur League. Stating that he started playing at "Gölhisarspor" at the age of 15, Saraç said: "After playing for various teams in Denizli, Milas, Muğla and İzmir, I came to Gölhisarspor club. Last year I founded the "Gölhisar Vefaspor" club."
Stating that they are competing in the play-off stage in the Burdur 1st Amateur League, Saraç said: "We sent 14 players from the team in the second half of the league. When we started the league, our goal was to stay in the league. We stayed in the league, our goal is to be in the top four."
Emphasizing that his biggest advice to young people is to stay away from alcohol and cigarettes, Saraç said: "Young people should do sports, sports are beautiful. Friendship in sports is always a plus. Leaders come from athletes. The sports environment is indescribable, now I am 43 years old and I will continue to play."
