Manchester City head coach Jose Guardiola has separated from his wife of 30 years, Cristina Serra, due to his decision to extend his contract with the English club.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that the initiator of the separation was the specialist's wife. It is noted that Serra accuses Guardiola of focusing too much on his professional project.
Guardiola and Serra's separation became known on January 14. They made this decision in December 2024. The couple has three children.
Guardiola has been in charge of Manchester City since 2016. This season, the team is in sixth place in the English championship with 35 points.
