Fuzuli Musayev: "Regular organization of such marathons is very pleasing"

"The continuous organization of such marathons is gratifying."

This was stated by Fuzuli Musayev, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation (AKF), in an interview with Idman.biz.

He noted that the "Baku Marathon 2025" was organized at a high level. Musayev said that the race is distinguished by a number of features: "Firstly, running is very important for health. In general, this is a very good initiative. Both professional athletes and amateurs come together thanks to such events, and a good environment is created for communication. Baku is the city of winds. Holding the marathon with the slogan "Conquer the wind" is an interesting approach."

He also spoke about the work done in the Karate Federation: "Everything is in order in our federation. Things are going very well. We hold many competitions. Our athletes participate in international competitions and show good results. As you know, the CIS Games will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time this year. There is also karate here. I hope that our athletes will delight us with good results."

It should be noted that about 28,000 participants have registered for the race organized on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. More than 200 official and honorary participants, including well-known political, public, art figures and intellectuals, joined the Baku Marathon, which is being held for the 8th time.
