By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, former Azerbaijani karateka, currently the head of the sports society of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, vice-president of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation and Colonel of the MES Fuzuli Musayev was awarded the "For Service to the Motherland" Order of the 3rd degree.

It should be noted that Fuzuli Musayev, born in Ganja, is the owner of the 8th dan black belt in karate. He was previously awarded the "Progress" medal and holds the titles of Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Honored Coach, Honored Master of Sports.
Fuzuli Musayev is also a world and European karate champion.
