Former presidents of Turkish clubs "Beşiktaş" and "Galatasaray", Fikret Orman and Burak Elmas, have been detained as part of an investigation into drug-related crimes.
"Report" reports this with reference to the Turkish media.
It is noted that they were detained by employees of the Narcotics Crimes Department of the city Police Department within the framework of an investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office and taken to the department.
Burak Elmas underwent a medical examination.
It is reported that the operational measures are large-scale. It is noted that actress Hande Erçel, models Güzide Duran and Didem Soydan, Kerim Sabancı and Hakan Sabancı were also detained separately.
