An operation has been launched against those suspected of creating artificial price movements by speculating on certain stocks on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, 12 suspects, including illusionist Aref Ghafouri and former footballer Gökhan Gönül, were detained in operations carried out in five locations in central Istanbul.
The suspects are accused of market fraud and forming a criminal organization.
