For the first time in 5 years, they will not participate in the Champions League semi-finals;

Real Madrid lost to London's Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Apasport.az reports that the "Gunners" won the return match held at "Santiago Bernabeu" - 2:1.

Thus, for the first time since the 2019/20 season, the "Royal" club failed to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Having lost to Manchester City in the 1/8 finals 5 years ago, the Madrid club also reached the 1/2 finals in the next four seasons, winning the tournament twice.

It should be noted that Arsenal will face PSG in the semi-finals. Barcelona will compete with Inter for a place in the final.
