An Azerbaijani film has been awarded a high prize at the FICTS international sports film festival held in Milan, Italy.
Idman.Biz reports that Arzu Urshan's film "Following the Dream" has won the "Documentary – Individual Sport" category.
The documentary, filmed with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and premiered in Baku on August 8, tells the story of the journey of mountaineer Elmira Aslanova to the summit of Everest.
It should be noted that mountaineer Elmira Aslanova has gone down in history as the first Azerbaijani woman to climb Mount Everest.
