Five Karabakh horses from the Karabakh Equestrian Complex located in Aghjabadi have been selected to be sent to Sivas, Turkey. Sport24.az reports that this was announced by Fatih Keşe, President of the Turkish Chowgan Federation, who is on a visit in connection with the III CIS Games held in Azerbaijan.
He stated that the country's first specialized chowgan complex was built in the city in question.
It should be reminded that chowgan competitions are held at the Shaki city stadium. The Turkish national team finished the group stage in third place and completed its performance in the tournament. The Azerbaijani national team, on the other hand, won two confident victories and advanced to the semi-finals and continues to fight for medals.
In a statement to journalists, Fatih Keşe said that Turkey attaches great importance to the revival of this ancient game and is actively working to jointly develop this sport with the support of Azerbaijan.
