In accordance with the calendar plan approved by the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation for 2026, the Opening Race of the season in road cycling was organized.
Idman.Biz reports that about 70 cyclists representing various clubs and societies tested their strength in five age categories at the competition held in the velopark.
The winners in various distances were determined in the competition held in intense competition:
- Boys born in 2012-2013 (6.4 km): Emil Abbasov
- Boys born in 2010-2011 (9.6 km): Ilkin Sadigzadeh
- Boys born in 2008-2009 (12.8 km): Hasan Zeynalov
- Girls born in 2008-2009 (6.4 km): Maryam Huseynova
- Girls born in 2011-2013 (3.2 km): Suvar Isayeva
The winning athletes were awarded medals and diplomas of appropriate degrees.
