The first national Aquathlon championship in the history of Azerbaijani sports was held at the "Blueplanet Kite Beach Hotel" in Shuraabad.
Idman.biz reports that the competition was organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the main sponsorship of Alufar company.
160 athletes from various regions and clubs of the republic tested their strength in the competition. The championship, which took place in a tense and exciting competitive environment, became a memorable sports festival for both participants and spectators.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the event is to promote triathlon in the regions of the country and support its mass character.
