The Norwegian striker has landed one of the most expensive contracts in sports history.
Norwegian star striker Erling Haaland has extended his contract with Manchester City.
Lent.az reports that, according to the official website of the "Citizens", the 24-year-old footballer's new agreement with the club is valid until the summer of 2034.
The financial details of the contract are not disclosed, but The Athletic claims that the Norwegian's salary has increased. The contract he signed has become one of the most expensive in sports history.
It is also the fifth-longest contract in world football history. Only four players have signed longer-term contracts.
Haaland joined Manchester City in the summer of 2022 from Borussia Dortmund for 60 million euros.
Since then, Erling has played 126 games for the Manchester club in all tournaments, scoring 111 goals and providing 15 assists.
Together with the "Citizens", the Norwegian has won two Premier League titles, the English Cup and Super Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
Haaland has made 28 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions this season, scoring 21 goals and providing 1 assist.
