Azerbaijan will be represented by 6 athletes in 4 categories at the World Badminton Championship for the first time.
Idman.biz reports that 6 of our badminton players have earned the right to participate based on the ranking in 4 categories at the World Championship, which will be held in Paris, the capital of France, on August 25-31.
Edi Reski Dvichayo and Diki Pangestu in the men's singles competition, Keisha Fatima Zahra in the women's singles competition, Agil Gabilov-Diki Pangestu pair in the men's doubles category, and Jahid Alhasanov - Hajar Nuriyeva tandem in the mixed doubles category will represent our country at the World Championship.
It should be noted that one of the main goals of the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation's strategy for 2025-2028 is to ensure the regular participation of our badminton players in all categories in European and world championships in the coming years.
