Austrian extreme parachutist Felix Baumgartner died in a tragic accident during a parachute flight near the Adriatic coast, in the central region of Italy.

The incident occurred in Porto Sant'Elpidio, in the Marche region of Italy. Baumgartner lost control of the paraglider. His health suddenly deteriorated, and he fell into the pool of a local hotel. It is reported that one of the hotel's employees was also injured and hospitalized with a neck injury.
According to the ANSA agency, Baumgartner was already dead when the paraglider fell on the hotel grounds.
It should be noted that the parachutist gained world fame in 2012 with his famous jump from the stratosphere. During that flight, when he jumped from a height of more than 38 kilometers, he set three world records, reaching a speed of 1173 km/h.
