On April 3-4, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Farid Gayibov, was on a visit to Turkey.
Idman.Biz reports that, as part of the visit, Farid Gayibov, as the chairman of the Conference of Parties (COP10) to the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport, participated in the opening ceremony of the seminar on "Strengthening anti-doping knowledge and increasing educational potential in sports-related bachelor's programs" in Istanbul on April 3.
On the same day, at the invitation of Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan, the president of the World Ethnosport Confederation, Minister Farid Gayibov went to Antalya and held bilateral meetings with Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan and Ahmad Donyamali, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Islamic Republic of Iran, within the framework of the International Ethnosport Forum.

During the visit, the minister met with the U-12 team of "Qarabag" FC and the U-14 team of "Sabah" FC, which participated in the international tournament held in Antalya. He also watched the Turkey-Azerbaijan final game of the international inter-parliamentary football tournament of the TURKPA member states, which was held in Antalya, together with his Turkish counterpart Osman Bak, and participated in the award ceremony. It should be noted that the team of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan won the silver medal of the tournament.
