Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov held his 22nd meeting with representatives of sports federations at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
İdman.biz reports that during the meeting, the minister welcomed the participants and provided detailed information about the work done in the field of sports in recent times, the results achieved, and the tasks ahead.
Reports were heard on the 32nd Summer Universiade (FISU), the XII World Games, the XVIII European Youth Summer Olympic Festival, and the European Youth Paralympic Games. Information was also provided on the state of preparation for the VI Islamic Solidarity Games, as well as the III CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan this year.
The meeting also included presentations on the visits of representatives of the sports community to the liberated regions, financial issues, the awarding of honorary titles, the activities of the National Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Institute, and the work to be done in the field of sports medicine. Also, reports were presented on the "Tədbirvar" (tedbirvar.az) platform and the social media activities of the federations, and other issues on the agenda were discussed.
