Holding the Figure Skating Grand Prix tournament in Azerbaijan is another success for our sports.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov in his statement to journalists.
He spoke about the Figure Skating Grand Prix tournament among juniors held in Azerbaijan:
"This competition is another success for Azerbaijani sports. Last week, the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix was held. The 3rd CIS Games are ahead of us. The attention of the head of state, President Ilham Aliyev, to sports is always felt. We believe that such sporting events will be held more often in the future."
Note that the competition, which started today, will end on September 26.
