Farid Gayibov met with athletes who achieved high results in international competitions: Achievements gained during the month were noted

Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov met with athletes who achieved high results in international competitions during the month.

İdman.biz reports that the coaches of the athletes also participated in the ceremony held at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.

The event started with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then, Minister Farid Gayibov, who highly appreciated the achievements of our athletes in the international arena, emphasized that the Azerbaijani National Anthem was played in 14 countries in July. He congratulated the athletes and their coaches on winning 55 gold, 42 silver and 66 bronze medals during the month and wished them success in the upcoming competitions.

During the meeting, a video reflecting the achievements gained in international arenas during the month was shown. Later, athletes and coaches who spoke provided information about the competitions they participated in and the results they achieved.

Representatives of athletics, trampoline gymnastics, tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics, boxing, judo, diving, wushu, billiards, karate, kudo, kyokushin karate, karate fudokan, shito-ryu karate, savate combat, savate assault, MMA (professionals), para-taekwondo, para-judo, para-athletics, para-swimming and alpagut sports provided information about the competitions they participated in and the results they achieved.
