Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov met with athletes who successfully performed in international competitions during the month.
Idman.biz reports that, along with the athletes, their coaches also participated in the event held at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
The event began with the singing of the National Anthem. Then, Minister Farid Gayibov presented the relevant certificates and badges to the persons awarded the honorary title of "Honored Coach of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and the degree of "Master of Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
After the screening of a video reflecting the achievements gained in the international arena during the month, the participants of the event spoke. Representatives of aerobics gymnastics, acrobatics gymnastics, kayak, canoe, academic rowing, boxing, basketball, judo, beach wrestling, freestyle wrestling, women's wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, mini-football, kickboxing, karate, MMA, para powerlifting, para badminton, belt wrestling, Kyrgyz kurosh, deaflympics (karate WKF) sports provided information about the competitions they participated in and the results they achieved.
In the end, Minister Farid Gayibov congratulated the athletes and wished them greater success in the upcoming competitions.
