Farid Gayibov met with athletes and coaches who achieved success in international competitions

Today, the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov met with athletes who successfully performed in international competitions during May.

İdman.biz reports that, along with athletes, their coaches also participated in the event held at the Baku Youth Center.

The event began with the singing of the National Anthem. Then, Minister Farid Gayibov presented relevant certificates and badges to some sports specialists who were awarded the honorary titles of "Honored Coach of the Republic of Azerbaijan", "Honorary Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "Master of Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

After the screening of a video reflecting the achievements gained in the international arena during the month, the event participants made speeches. Representatives of athletics, boxing, judo, trampoline gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatic gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, track cycling, taekwondo, triathlon, academic rowing, kayaking, canoeing, dragon boat, kurash, MMA, deadlift, strict curl, soft equipment bench press, arm wrestling, sumo, kickboxing, kung fu, wushu and bodybuilding sports provided information about the competitions they participated in and the results they achieved.

Finally, Minister Farid Gayibov congratulated the athletes and wished them greater success in the upcoming competitions.
