On August 20, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov met with Fidel Ylli, President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee, Astrit Hasani, President of the European Weightlifting Federation, and Leonard Lulay, President of the Albanian Gymnastics Federation. Sport24.az reports that the meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of sports, exchange of experience and issues related to the development of various sports.
The prospects of cooperation in organizing international competitions and expanding relations were also discussed.
Kamran Nabizade, President of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation, also participated in the meeting.
