Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov met with FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis today.
"Report" informs with reference to the press service of the ministry that the development of basketball in Azerbaijan, existing and future cooperation opportunities with FIBA were discussed during the meeting.
At the same time, an exchange of views was held on the implementation of joint initiatives and the expansion of international cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Farrukh Mahmudov, Executive Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, and Turgay Zeytingoz, Sports Director, as well as Yovana Vukoye, Manager of FIBA 3x3 basketball competitions.
