Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz will not participate in the Masters tournament held in Madrid.
"Report" informs that the "Marca" publication reported this.
The world's number three tennis player has decided not to participate in the competition due to an injury sustained in the final of the ATP-500 tournament against Dane Holger Rune.
Alcaraz was supposed to face the winner of the Zizou Bergs (Belgium) - Yoshihito Nishioka (Japan) pair.
It should be noted that the Masters tournament will last until May 4.
