Famous footballer divorces his wife and lives at Real Madrid's training ground
Famous Brazilian former defender Roberto Carlos has separated from his wife after 15 years of marriage.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the former Real Madrid player is divorcing his wife, Mariana Lukkonda. The couple has been married since 2009 and has two daughters. Previously, 51-year-old Roberto Carlos confessed to being the father of 11 children from different women.
Currently working in the club's structure, Roberto Carlos is forced to live at Real Madrid's Valdebebas training ground because his wife lives in one of his two houses in Spain, and his relatives live in the other. It is noted that the divorce process will be difficult because the couple has to divide property worth approximately 160 million euros.
Roberto Carlos is the 2002 World Champion, the 1998 World Cup silver medalist. The Brazilian played for Unian San-Juan, Atletico Mineiro, Palmeiras and Corinthians in his homeland, as well as Inter, Real Madrid, Fenerbahce and Delhi Dynamos of India. In 2011-2012, the world champion played for Anji Makhachkala, played 28 matches for him - scored 5 goals and made 3 assists.
