Evgeni Malkin, a hockey player for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the US, has been fined 143 times in Russia over the past six years for traffic violations.
"Report", citing Russian media, reports that the 38-year-old forward was fined 25,000 rubles in just one month.
He was reportedly caught talking on the phone while driving, speeding, and not paying for parking.
The 143 fines over six years amounted to 264.5 thousand rubles (approximately 5,700 manats). Malkin has not yet paid seven fines (16 thousand rubles).
