The 19th meeting of the Governing Board of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) of the Council of Europe was held in Strasbourg, France.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan was represented at the event by Elnur Mammadov, Head of the Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The event was attended by representatives of European countries holding responsible positions in the field of sports. At the meeting, Elnur Mammadov was elected a member of the EPAS Governing Board Bureau for the next two years.
During the event, discussions were held on the strategy for the coming years and issues of inclusiveness and safety in sports, sports-related conventions and other topics.
