The sports parade held in Gazakh was more different and memorable than the previous ones.
The "Report" employee seconded to Gazakh reports that Elchin Gasimov, the sector manager of the Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, said this in a statement to journalists after the opening ceremony of "Sports Capital - 2026".
He stated that, as every year, a series of events have been organized this year on the occasion of March 5 - Physical Education and Sports Day, the sports week started on March 2 and will continue until the 8th:
"During this period, it is planned to hold more than 20 different sports events. Today, we are celebrating both Physical Education and Sports Day and the official opening ceremony of the "Sports Capital" selected for 2026 took place. The opening ceremony was organized at a high level and solemnly. I think that this year's sports parade was more different and memorable than the previous ones."
Elchin Gasimov added that various local and international competitions are organized in the city selected as the "Sports Capital" throughout the year:
"The next competitions will start on March 9 and sports events will continue regularly until the end of the year."
