The Azerbaijani national youth diving team has completed its performance at the 12th Sofia Diving Cup.
İdman.biz reports that Amina Hasanbayova, Ayla Huseynova, Maqsud Tahirli, Mehri Agayeva and Muhammad Huseynov represented our country in the competition.
They were accompanied by head coach Anton Melnikov.
In the tournament, which was attended by representatives from Bulgaria, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Norway, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey and Greece, along with Azerbaijani athletes, our team won 3 gold medals.
All three medals were won by Maqsud Tahirli. He surpassed all his rivals in diving from 1 and 3 meter springboards, as well as from a 5 meter platform, and climbed to the podium.
In total, more than 160 athletes competed in the competition.
