The head coach of Madrid's "Atletico", Diego Simeone, and his wife, Karla Pereyra, witnessed the murder of Andriy Portnov, the former adviser to the former President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by "El Espanol".
Portnov was shot near the American school in Posuelo-de-Alarcon. Simeone's daughters, Francesca and Valentina, study here. Portnov's children also study there.
Simeone's wife talked about what happened:
"It was a very difficult time for everyone. I ask you to respect the families of the victims. The truth is that it is important for us to take care of the children and protect them."
It should be noted that the incident occurred on May 21. The perpetrators have not yet been found.
