Cooperation in the field of anti-doping is expanding between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) told "Report" about this.
An international conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency (LTUNADO) was held in Vilnius, the capital of the country.
Our country was represented at the event by AMADA Executive Director Tahmina Taghi-zade.
The conference discussed the development and cooperation prospects of anti-doping organizations, organizational transformation based on the Adizes methodology, and the relationship between sports organizations and the gaming industry.
Within the framework of the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between AMADA and LTUNADO. The memorandum was signed by AMADA Executive Director Tahmina Taghi-zade and LTUNADO Director Ruta Banyte.
Within the framework of the memorandum, both agencies will promote the deepening of cooperation in the field of anti-doping, strengthening scientific research and educational initiatives, as well as the application of innovative approaches and the exchange of practical knowledge.
Cooperation will cover results processing, testing, education, research, therapeutic use authorization and other areas, and will contribute to further improvement of activities in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.
