Armenia has not yet provided information regarding its participation in the III CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan. Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Aygul Agayeva, Head of Security and Operations of Baku City Circuit Operations Company, at the first press conference dedicated to the competition.
She stated that in accordance with the rules of the international event, an invitation is sent to the other party: "We send invitations to countries. However, Armenia's participation has not yet been confirmed. If there are any updates in the next stages, information will be provided about this."
It should be noted that the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games will be held at the Ganja city stadium. In total, competitions will be held in 12 sports facilities in 23 sports. About 5550 participants are expected in the Games. In addition to the CIS countries, other countries are also planned to be invited to the event. Media accreditation will begin in May.
