Azerbaijani sabre fencers won a gold medal at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, defeating Uzbekistan 45:43 in the final.
The expert spoke about the success of the women's team, which showed the highest result in the sabre category:
"It was a difficult achievement. I wouldn't want to discuss the decisions of the referees against us. But despite all this, our team did not "break". We showed that our team is strong and we have the potential to win a gold medal."
