Carlos Alcaraz became the 11th tennis player to earn over $40 million in his career

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, a 4-time Grand Slam champion, has become the 11th tennis player to surpass $40 million in career earnings.

Report reports, citing foreign media, that this was achieved after he won the Masters tournament in Monaco.

The 21-year-old athlete earned $1 million for winning the competition held in Monte Carlo. With this, he became the 11th tennis player, both male and female, to exceed $40 million in prize money.

It should be noted that the current leader in this indicator among men is the 24-time Grand Slam champion, Serbian Novak Djokovic ($187 million). The highest-earning female tennis player is Serena Williams (95 million dollars), who owns 23 titles.
