5-year-old Nihat Kanan oglu Orujov suffers from autism. Nihat's mother, Samira Orujova, says that her financial resources are very limited for her child's treatment. Appealing to the mass media, the mother believes that our citizens and benevolent people will lend a helping hand.
Idman.Biz reports that in her appeal to fanat.az, the mother said that she is raising her 5-year-old child alone:
"After Nihat was born, we did not feel anything unusual in the child at first. We thought he was like other children who started talking late. But gradually, strange things appeared in his behavior. The child showed speech impairment, fear, sometimes excessive activity, and sometimes difficulty in comprehension. I took him to the doctor. During the examinations, it turned out that my son has autism. Moreover, Kanner autism, which is a severe form of this disease."
S.Orucova stated that she is a single mother, works, but cannot meet the financial needs of her children with her salary. On the one hand, Nihat's treatment costs make the situation even more difficult:
"My son is suffering, he needs long-term treatment, and one course of treatment costs 300 manats. Nihat lags behind his peers and does not react to anything. Nihat's disability was confirmed these days. Initially, a benefit of 205 manats was assigned. Maybe the amount will increase later. However, it is not possible to continuously provide the child's treatment with benefits and my small salary. Therefore, I appeal to our people and compassionate people for help. Let anyone help as much as they can."
