Sports games called "Bright Suns" were held among people with Down syndrome.
"Report" informs that athletes from Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, along with Azerbaijan, participated in the competition organized by the Down Athletes Support Public Union at the Baku Athletics Center. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, local and foreign public representatives.
The purpose of the games is to draw the public's attention to people with Down syndrome and to prepare athletes for future international sports competitions.
