"Border Guard" Cup Show Jumping Competitions Completed: Winners Determined

The show jumping competitions for the "Border Guard" Cup were held at the Border Guard Equestrian Center, organized by the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation. Athletes representing various clubs of the country demonstrated their skills in the tournament, which was organized in three different categories.

Idman.Biz reports that the height of the obstacles in the competition was 80 cm, 115 cm and 125 cm, respectively, according to the categories. According to the rules, athletes under 21 years old competed with horses up to six years old, while adults competed with horses without age restrictions.

"E" category (80 cm): Medina Mammadova, representing the "Elite" equestrian club, showed absolute superiority in this stage, which was attended by 26 athletes. She took first place with the horse nicknamed "Ayla" and second place with "Walonka". The following results were recorded in the top five:

5. Jahangir Novruzbayli ("Burla") – "Republican Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School in Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon"

"L" category (115 cm): The success series of the "Elite" club continued in the competition with the participation of 17 athletes without age restrictions:

3. Kanan Novruzov ("Miss Baloubet MNM") – "Omar"
