"I hope that no culture in the world will be destroyed."
İdman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that these words were said by the President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, Bilal Erdoğan, in an interview with journalists at the IV National Highland Festival held in Goygol district.
"Let's develop traditional sports so that we can preserve our national identity. Let everyone preserve their culture, be on the same level. It is very gratifying to see people from different cultures at the Highland Festival. We, as the World Ethnosport Confederation, have been working for 10 years to prevent the destruction of cultures. I thank President Ilham Aliyev for his constant support in this path," he added.
It should be noted that the 4th National Highland Festival is organized by the "Javad Khan" History and Culture Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), the World Ethnosport Confederation, the Goygol District Executive Authority, the Ministry of Agriculture, KOBİA, the State Tourism Agency and the Baku City Ring LLC.
