A bike ride was organized in Baku on November 9 - State Flag Day. İdman.Biz reports that the event was organized jointly by the State Flag Square Complex Administration and the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation.
The ride was held under the motto "Our flag is our source of pride!". In addition to members of the national teams of Azerbaijan in various age groups, more than 200 amateur cyclists participated in the action. Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov also joined the runners at the event.
Participants moved along the State Flag Square - Azneft Avenue - Sea Port - Heydar Aliyev Center route. The bike ride, which covered a total distance of 16.5 km, was met with great interest by the residents of the capital. The route ended where it started - State Flag Square.
It should be noted that the mentioned bike ride has already become a tradition and is held every year on the eve of State Flag Day.
