Dick Barnett, a former guard for the National Basketball Association (NBA)'s New York Knicks, a Basketball Hall of Famer, and two-time champion, has died at the age of 88.
"Report" reports that the NBA press service announced this.
Details of his death have not been disclosed.
It should be noted that D. Barnett played for the New York Knicks from 1965 to 1973 and won the NBA championship twice during this period. The defender's number 12 jersey was retired by the club. He is the 9th highest scorer in New York Knicks history. Barnett was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2024.
