60-year-old Hans-Dieter Flick is considering continuing his cooperation with "Barcelona."
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the parties have already started negotiations.
The president of the Catalans, Joan Laporta, together with sports director Deco, met with the head coach's agent, Pini Zahavi. Both sides are highly interested in extending the contract until the summer of 2027.
The possibility of including the option to extend for another season is being considered. However, the registration of the contract may be delayed because the Barcelona leadership will prioritize strengthening the squad before extending the contract with Flick.
It should be noted that the German has been coaching the Catalan team since May last year. Having defeated Borussia Dortmund 4:0 in the first 1/4 final of the Champions League, Barcelona is currently maintaining its leading position in La Liga and has reached the final of the Copa del Rey.
