The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has decided to change its operating format from 2026, holding regional symposiums instead of annual meetings, and Azerbaijan will be the first address of this project.
İdman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has released a video message regarding this.
In the sharing, the Executive Director of AMADA, Tahmina Taghi-zade, stated that the new format will create an important platform to further strengthen cooperation and take the fight against doping to the next stage:
"I am pleased to announce that Baku, Azerbaijan, will host the first symposium for the European region. This will provide an opportunity for athletes, national anti-doping agencies, governments and the entire community working for clean sport to deepen cooperation and raise development to a higher level".
