"Baku Marathon 2025" has started.
İdman.biz reports that the marathon, which starts and finishes at the National Flag Square, covers the Seaside Boulevard, as well as the central streets and avenues of the capital, a total distance of 21 km.
Marathon participants will compete for the top 3 places in the men's and women's categories on the running track. In addition, the first participant to reach the finish line will be awarded a medal, and all marathon participants and volunteers who support the organization of the race will be awarded certificates.
It should be noted that the marathon, organized since 2016 on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, aims to support the development of sports and promote a healthy lifestyle.
