The "Bahar Qalası" festival was held by the Administration of the "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve on the occasion of the arrival of spring.
İdman.Biz reports that the Ministry of Youth and Sports held a special presentation of the city of Baku, which was selected as the "World Sports Capital" for 2026, as part of the festival. The event featured colorful performances by athletes in various sports. Spectators watched with interest the impressive performances in karate, cycling, boxing, judo, wrestling, capoeira, national sports, table tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, golf, taekwondo and zorhana.
The show organized by the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation with academic rowing, kayaking, canoeing and dragon boats in the Caspian waters added a special color to the event. The passage of flag-bearing scooters and demonstrations of sailing sports gave the festival participants dynamic moments.
At the same time, a mobile "Healthy Life" project was also organized within the framework of the event. Sports enthusiasts, especially children, were able to join this project and have both fun and useful time.
