Azerbaijan's national chovgan team aims to win the III CIS Games.
According to the employee of "Report", who was sent to Sheki, this was stated by the head coach of the team, Namig Orujov.
He evaluated the game with the Kuwait national team, which they faced today:
"For the first time, the Azerbaijani chovgan team is represented at the CIS Games. This is very important in terms of promoting chovgan in Europe and the world. This game proves that chovgan is developing in Azerbaijan. I congratulate the Azerbaijani people on the victory. I thank our fans for supporting us until the end. Our goal is to reach the final and win. We have prepared for this. We will try to wave our tricolor flag high."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team, which defeated Kuwait 5:0 today in Group A, has advanced to the semi-finals. The chovgan games will end on October 7.
