Azerbaijani wrestlers won two medals at the "Dan Kolov - Nikola Petrov" tournament in Varna, Bulgaria.
"Report" informs that Sadiq Mustafazade (92 kg) won against Israeli Uri Kalashnikova in the first round of the round-robin competition - 7:4.
In the second round, our compatriot gave Bulgarian Radomir Stoyanov no chance - 18:6. In the third round, Mustafazade won a minimal victory in a tense match against American Eric Schultz - 8:7. In the last round, Sadiq lost to Georgian Sandro Kurashvili with a score of 2:5 and won a silver medal in the traditional competition.
Ceyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) defeated Bulgarian Dimitar Biserkov (10:0) in the qualifying round and Nahshon Garrete (15:5) in the 1/4 finals with a complete advantage. Ceyhun, who lost to another US representative, Devan Turner, in the semi-finals with a score of 2:4, defeated Bulgarian Denis Naim prematurely (10:0) and finished the tournament with a bronze medal.
